Nursing Staff are on duty 24 hours a day working with a team of Health Care Assistants. Our Nurses have obtained nursing qualifications that have been fully verified. All are trained and experienced in providing specialised care services and hold current Nursing qualification pins.
Our Health Care Assistants, many of whom either already have or are working towards their National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ) and other appropriate qualifications, are friendly, caring and hardworking.
Housekeeping/Laundry Staff are responsible for ensuring that all areas of the homes are clean and tidy and the laundry is taken care of.
The Head Chef and Kitchen Staff ensure that all catering needs of our residents are met and keep the kitchen to regulation standards.
Handymen carry out general repairs and maintenance of the buildings, grounds and equipment. They will offer assistance to residents in personalising their room by hanging your pictures.
All staff are given training in safe moving and handling techniques, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, food handling, fire prevention, Health & Safety, infection control and dementia care.
All new staff go through a stringent vetting procedure, including reference checks, ISA Register and Criminal Records Bureau Checks.
Although each member of staff has a role within the Home, the emphasis remains on Teamwork. Together they form a unified friendly team, which is focused on the personal care and well-being of all our residents.
