Our Activity Co-ordinators and staff will work to provide you with a variety of events and activities to suit your interests. The co-ordinators will spend time with you to find out what your interests are and how you would like to spend your day. There will be a monthly activity calendar to include Exercises, Music Therapy, Games, Current Affairs, Bingo, Arts and Crafts and we also celebrate Birthdays and Special Events
Participation in the activity programme is not mandatory. However, we hope that everyone will take the opportunity to become involved and to make new friends.
Our Homes operate an open visiting policy. However due to security reasons the front gates and doors are locked at night. It is therefore helpful if you can inform staff when your visitors plan to stay or visit late. We encourage active involvement from our residents/relatives and friends, and we value their opinions highly. Any suggestions or comments they may have are most welcome. Our Home Managers are more than happy to discuss concerns and to aid this process we hold regular residents/relatives meetings.
We have formed clubs in which friends, volunteers, neighbours and relatives can participate. They will be invited to join us for all our special events such as Guy Fawkes celebrations, Summer Barbeques, Christmas Parties and so on.
